AB-solutley Right

Seeee
I'm always right

so never question it

So yesterday I make my way over to one of the wee-fee hotspots in order to get online..As I'm doing the random things, checking email, forgetting what it is I'm supposed to be checking or googling, I read up on some news articles - ever since I got an office job, news websites have offered me entertaining ways to kill time…

Anyway, upon opening the first site right there on the front page, main article, "anorexia among young males?" The article went on to show pictures of these guys with frail bodies, skinny, except…they had a six pack or abs of some kind. Yup, the post I wrote not too long ago about how sickening this new fad was becoming turned out to actually be a legit thing..so any of those naysayers who thought I was just being a hater can now SMD.

They article elaborated on the new trend, of why it was happening, and so forth..what's sad is some of the quotes from these idiots "I think I look good" or "i love being able to show off my bod" …right, because skin and bones looks sooo good..but you got that six pack so kudos to you…

And to you girls who perpetuated this craze..you're all fat…there, that should settle the score…

Ab-

-stain...
-duct...

Absolutely no reason for this nonsense....

I go to the gym, I work out, I do so because I want to stay in shape..I want to be healthy..I want to be strong..I want to have a better build to my body, something other than being scrawny. I'm not super gung-ho about hitting the gym...I go in cycles..just something to keep me active and not a fatass. Of course I, like many guys, have the vision of that cut body, muscles, and ripped six-pack...but now...now I'm having issues with that last part.

In today's world, the six-pack on a man is now weirdly equivalent to tits on chick. It's almost disgusting, actually, it is. When I was growing up sure there was the appeal women had for men with fit bodies, but it wasn't so sickishly hellbent on a six pack...i shall now call a sick-pack....Our heroes then were different...the guys we boys wanted to be like were different...they were men. They weren't this long haired, scenster freakshows that walk around pretentious as fuck because they duped a society of young girls to think it's cool...

My dashboard, newsfeed, whatever feed is constantly spammed by stupid people posting pictures of all these guys showing off their sick-packs...which inturn get these stupid comments from other stupid people. But as sad a display of soceity that is, what's worse is if you were to see these actual pictures that are being posted. Sure, yeah the guy has a sick-pack, but that's all...there's no other muscle definition whatsoever....it's just a sick-pack (Now the term makes sense..) He's just some scrawny guy with some abs...who probably gets winded doing a push-up.

You know, all you need is a body fat percentage to be under 12% for your abs to start showing...so what these guys have done is basically starved themselves and 100 situps every day to look like that....while the rest of the body withers to nothing...those guys are stupid...and to the women who find it attractive and keep posting it everywhere..you're just as stupid..

I used to want to have a six-pack, but now with this superficial revolution of whatever this crap is..I don't. I will keep true to myself and go to the gym, like I have done before, keeping myself healthy and not scrawny..because i'd rather have a decent overall package than put my focus onto just one area and look ridiculous..

besides, the girls that like that are bitches anyway...

"Yeah, that's great that you have abs and the girls love it...but, you weigh a buck twenty and can barely hold yourself up, how the hell do you expect to fuck....i take your girls, pick them up, and toss them around like a man...like how they want it...psh..abs...."

I Have Loved Enough

Thanks Leonard..
..i got this one

so so so much...

ok the original title was going to be "I Have Blogged Enough" but i found it appropriate for either title to be used, so, go ahead and call it whichever want..it's not like i care...oh wait...

I wrote a 1500 word blog yesterday, making that the fifth blog in a 24 hour period, followed by a 1500 word email...one that I don't think was read..or if it was then the reader obviously did not follow the pleaful instructions..in any event i'm pretty much spent..well, ok maybe not, I still have plenty of things to say however every single thought, every time i speak, every deep inhale feels like there's a hattori hanzo katana slashing through my cerebellum...awesome.

So I wanted to get a post out there today, marking my accomplishments, or rather, really the lack there of...once again noting that I poured my heart out to someone who didn't even notice or care to notice, and now i'm left with the mess of trying to clean it up...naturally.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for my head (not my heart, though I'd love to hear a diagnosis on that..) - i'm so frustrated about everything that i want to cry, i'm in so much pain that i can't..

such is (my) life.

OverLoaded

overwhelmed..
but it's just right..

because if it's not all right at first, fuck it

And to think, when i started getting back into blogging at the beginning of this week, i originally had to 'pace' myself because i was a day ahead of my blogs...now, well, i'm like the bulls struggling to come back from behind...

so after all my visitors have come and gone it's time to get things right on my end..so, naturally i take on too many large tasks at one time...so with the induction of so many different things into my life, it's only fair to say it's causing a strain on me.

i want to keep writing, i would really like to write something every day - i get a kick out of looking at my blogger homepage and seeing all my posts, with all the dates they were posted next to it in a numerical succession...i know i've said before to others, if you want to write, then f'ing do it, so i really don't have an excuse..but sometimes i avoid writing because i know how long it actually takes to fully make a blog posting.. granted ideally i try to write a blog in one sitting, no interruptions, and definitely on reading back on what i wrote..it's hard when i'm sitting on the computer...people will only IM, or facebook chat me when i'm writing (and ughhhh, facebook chat is the worst - only because i am then locked into that tabbed page in my browser, not allowing me to go anywhere else..)

something else i tried to get back into this week was going to the gym...it's been since my sickness back in the middle of march since i was dedicated about going. since march up until last week i probably saw the inside of a gym for a count less than double digits - and it shows.

i'm an all or nothing type of person, i'll either do something fully right, or not do it at all...doing something half-assed or temporarily is a waste in my opinion. like there was a time i wanted a display shelf for my salt shaker collection, i had this grand layout of what i wanted. then someone suggested to me to make up something not as grandiose in the meantime to hold the shakers - i scoffed at the idea, why would i waste money, time, and effort of something that wasn't up to my standards, something i didn't really want, something that was just going to get replaced..

same goes for actions in my life, such as the gym...sure there have been days i probably could have made it into the gym, but that was only a couple times a week..the other days were chockabok full, so any weight training would render useless .... you see where i'm going with this...

so i like starting clean slate, cold turkey, big/powerful movements..and in the process of doing so, i can take off a little more than i can chew...starting blogging, and working out, and other things all on the same week, the same day, it can get a little hectic...i naturally take on more than i should, but i am able to handle it just as well...

like the other day it was lunch, and my manager asked me to pick up a table because the server it was assigned to couldn't get to it....picking up that table would make it my sixth table, mind you i have a VIP all the way in the back dining room too..so long story short, i pick up a sixth table no where near my section, because the other server couldn't handle his third...

did i stress..well, i never really stress or am in the weeds at work..i just have to work a little faster or manage my time a little more wisely...as it is changeable during your shift on the floor...

so yeah, just wanted to give y'all a little heads up on what's been going on...that's all i got, i'm busy, lol

Ouch....

pain pain pain...
but no gain, gain, gain...

2 gym memberships equals double the workout, right?

so another day off, another day of doing nothing...again it began with another night of a horrible sleep regiment..waking up..rolling around...changing beds...it just sucks...so my day starts off at 1, like always, and i really don't have much planned for today..i made a call about my credit report and found a lender who says my credit score is good, i just lack the monthly funds - mind you they are the first to say i have a good credit score - so i start thinking harder on this getting a second job thing..i need to claim 2000 a month...as a server i make that much easily, but claim about half...don't. audit. me....

so i text a friend who works at the gym i go to, they are always hiring so i figure why not work and get a free membership out of it...well, they do have two spots open...monday through friday 4:30am til 11:30am, and the other spot of saturday/sunday 7am to 1pm....cooooool

after that i decide to call the TV guys...since i haven't heard from them yet..i get ahold of them and i am not happy...but i keep my cool as much as possible, just being stern, until the guy asks me where i live... "Jesus fucking christ are you kidding me?! You've been here three times this month!" i lose it, and i try to get off the phone, making the call as short as possible, for his sake...i don't want to say something completely mean that i may regret...

TV arrives shortly, i get some cancer excuse which i feel i am immune to now since TJ is in hospice..the TV gets set up and, it works! cooool, now onto subway to find some food...freshly...a stop at GNC for some protein since my mom didn't buy any....and back to the apartment..

it's then and there that i stumble upon this nifty little website that allows me to make my own movies....the first one i created was a re-enactment of the conversation between the CP creeper and myself...i laughed my fucking ass off...but then i thought...holy shit...i can do my blogs with this!!! and so it began..

i copied and pasted my words on over to the site and started editing...oh. my. dad...i love it...though i have already had one complaint about it..saying there is no tone, this is not how they would think to hear me say it, and so forth...i've always wanted to do a video blog, or have an audio blog you could download and upload into your itunes/ipod for listening later...i'm just not that savvy....so this...this makes all my dreams..kinda possible..

so what i will do is write my blogs as i normally do, but just add the animation in between the body and the last quote, like shown on the wednesday blog post...if anyone has any ideas or suggestions...just let me know

but back to the blog at hand...so Gary and I are supposed to meet one of friends at her gym, L.A. Fitness to give it a shot..Gary and i have been wanting to change our memberships to that gym for awhile because they offer a pool, basketball, and racquetball courts..but somehow i got roped into my roommate's gym awhile back...so we go, use the guest passes, and of course we get haggled by one of the sales associates, he says he is the assistant general manager...

it's always comforting to hear during their pitch that they don't work on commission...but are soooo hell bent on having you join, sign up, whatever...uggggg

so in the end, i ended up giving in and joining..i didn't even get to try it out first...although they said they gave us a 5 days grace period to try it out..it's a larger gym, and a lot more people are there...i'm not a fan of that...when i work out i wanna be almost alone...but not too alone...like in a small confined area, like at my apartment's clubhouse..that was just weird.

start with the standard 30 of cardio, then it was onto arms...what's not cool is being new and trying to locate all the machines and things i used at my old gym here at the new one...then gary and our friend decided to find a volleyball to play with in one of the rooms..this proved to be entertaining...granted there was no net, we all had fun bouncing the ball around....

now when it comes to me and sports, i will sacrifice my body to play...even if it's some stupid "let's see how long we can keep it in the air" game...here i am diving all around on the hardwood floor....that's about the time i scraped up my knees...which i wouldn't find til later when i got home..

after an hour or so of that we played some basketball - i couldn't tell you the last time i played was...i look fondly of my days playing with the rock on the southside of chicago....now, i'm just some sucky average white guy...it's not long before the guys on the other half decide they want to play 4 on 4...now that they have enough people...so they shoot for captains, and start picking people...gary gets picked....then out of nowhere some ringer walks onto the court and he gets picked...leaving me out to dry..coooool, fuck you guys, i'm gonna go play workout...

so another round of arms, i'm about fried when gary walks up to me all pissed off saying we're leaving....coooool....so a new gym and a new website with a new TV is what my Thursday came down to....nice.

"coooool, 2 gym memberships and i still look like the poster-child for couch potatoes"

Endorphin High

in pain
but happy?

sooooo, i overloaded myself on endorphins and..i feel...great? go figure..i had the day off, granted it started less than five hours into my sleep with a phone call asking me to come in for a lunch shift...which i let the voicemail take care of...yeah i know i need shifts...but a lunch only...ughh, crap on that..i originaly thought i was being called in for a dinner shift, but that was not the case, so no phone call back to work was needed...

the phone call was good because it woke me up from a scary dream...almost repetitious like i had it before, but whatever..i was up for the next three hours before i finally fell back asleep on the phone cool.

230 rolls around and i'm back up..why do i feel like ass...ughh, maybe i shouldn't have fallen back asleep...it takes me awhile to wake up and get going..a long time in fact...but once the ball gets rolling i'm on a move...a little jerking off before i head out the door to get my blood flowing and start this day off right! from the apartment its over to the tanning place, which is conveniently right around the block...it's probably been a good month plus in which i havent tanned - i know you could tell by my appearance - so i figured its good to start 09 off right, right?

after the 12 minute bake it's off to the gym - where i start with a 20 minute cardio bike ride...now here's what pissed me off...i was biking at 100 rpms and my heart rate was somewhere around 125 - granted i was on the hill course and also on level four - but as i read the little chart off to the side it said i needed my heartrate to be somewhere around 160 for 85% and a cardio workout...so i say, ok..let's put the pedal to the..carpet, apparently there's carpet in here....so i get the rpm's up to 130 or so, somewhere to the breaking point..any faster and my feet are gonna fly off this thing...i look at my heart rate, 105.....wait what? how are my rpm's and heartrate inversely related...ughh, i hate this...

from the cardio it was time for my back workout...i don't even know what i'm doing...but i think i'm doing it wrong because of the pain i am in..i love to push myself, and i love to max out on my last rep...sooo, my back...hates me...

i make it back home and i notice a spring in my step...i'm as happy as a...whats a good analogy...a dick in a vagina...and i'm about to throw up....i'm calling my grandparents, sending kissy faces online, i'm just having a good ol time...and i stop and ask myself...is this a typical state for normal people? i mean, my angry every day attitude is the norm for me...sooo, is this how normal people feel everyday, just content with everything?

let's see how long it lasts...
